The Mayor of Tema, Hon. Ebi Bright, continues her familiarization with the metropolis through her latest working visit to the Tema Manhean Polyclinic, located in one of the sub-metros of the TMA.

Following an earlier engagement with the Tema Traditional Council (TTC) concerning the state of the sub-metro, the Hon. Mayor was guided on a tour of the clinic by the Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Joseph Donkor.

The Mayor was impressed with the development of infrastructure at the facility, particularly with the report that it requires just ten additional beds to reach full capacity of 40 beds and attain hospital status.

The Mayor pledged to follow up on the ongoing construction of the multipurpose medical facility next to the clinic, which she understands is being funded by the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC).

She also pledged to work with local authorities to uplift the infrastructure of the facility and further instructed the immediate demolition of an abandoned wooden structure on the premises.
