Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey is a Ghanaian Politician who currently serves as the Metropolitan Chief Executive for Tema. He is an Engineer by profession.
Before joining politics, he had worked as the Regional Manager for Huawei Tech S.A (GH) Ltd (Vodafone & MTN MS) responsible for Managing all Operations, Maintenance units and Staff to ensure good performance of all RAN (2G, 3G, 4G), Transmission (MW, Fiber) and Fixed Core Network (DSLAM, Fixed Switches) Network elements in the Eastern and Volta Regions. He also worked as the Telecom Area Manager for Ghana Telecom, in-charge of all Technical Operations on Fixed Access Network, Human Resource and Customer Service in Teshie-Nungua and Madina Telecom Areas.
Mr. Yohane Amarh Ashitey attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, where he acquired Honors Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. He has an MSc in Mobile Communications from the University of East London.
Mr. Yohane Amarh Ashitey was a University Foundation Lecturer in Engineering Science and Engineering Mathematics at the Cavendish College, Tottenham Court Road, London, United Kingdom from May 2010 to September 2010 and also a Part-time Lecturer at all Nations University in Koforidua for three years.
