Hon. Ebi Bright has commissioned the construction of a trapezoidal storm drain to serve Community 7, parts of the Industrial Area, and Community 10, marking a major step toward strengthening flood control and urban resilience.
The project, being led by the Urban Roads Department and Physical Planning Department of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA), is designed to protect major underground sewer lines from caving in due to erosion, while improving stormwater management and preventing flooding.
Hon. Ebi Bright used the commissioning opportunity to engage key stakeholders within the project area, emphasizing collaboration, community involvement, and shared responsibility for the sustainability of the infrastructure.
