Hon. Agabby Adjetey Sumaila has been elected Chairman of the Tema East Sub-Metro after a tightly contested race, defeating Hon. Joshua Agudah by 11 votes to 9.
The narrow victory highlights the importance of every vote and reflects strong grassroots participation. Hon. Sumaila thanked delegates for their support and pledged inclusive, people-centered leadership focused on development, sanitation, and responsive governance.
Hon. Joshua Agudah also earned praise for a spirited campaign and remains a key figure in the sub-metro’s growth.
