Tema; “the city in the centre of the world and the gate way to Ghana ” continue to expand its frontiers by strengthening her international presence.

The Tema Metropolitan Assembly has this week signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM).

The FCM collaboration which is under the auspices of the National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG), will implement the Partnership for Municipal Innovation-Women in Local Leadership (PMI-WILL).

Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey, in his address during the signing ceremony expressed appreciation to his management team for putting up a strong proposal to that eventually won the bid and called on individual women and female groups to avail themselves of the opportunity to be empowered for leadership across all facets of Society.
