The exercise which started a week ago according to the PRO of the TMA Mr. Frank Asante, is to prevent flooding and ensure residents continue to enjoy flood free environments. .

“Dredging works at communities 18, 19 and 20 storm drains have been done in preparedness for the upcoming rains to reduce flooding in the metropolis. Other communities and Tema Manhean would follow immediately”, said the PRO.

The Head of the NADMO department of the TMA, Mr. Ebenezer Cudjoe added that they will continue to distil drainages to enhance spontaneous water flow so that no resident shall be displaced and no road rendered unmotorable.
