Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) has observed this year’s ‘My first day at school ‘ initiative with a call on parents to see education as a means to eradicating poverty and ignorance from the Community.

Tema Mayor, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey made the call when he led Officials from the Tema Metropolitan Education Directorate to visit selected schools across the Metropolis, to welcome kids who are enrolling into Primary One.The Mayor interacted with the kids and gave them goodies, to make their first day at school a very memorable experience.
