The Waste Management Department of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly is currently embarking on massive evacuation of piled up garbage at the Valco Fence Area at Tema Manhean.

The exercise which began last week is part of the Assembly’s programme to rid the Metropolis of filth.

Other unapproved dump sites have since been evacuated and residents have been sensitized to embrace the door-to-door collection soon to be rolled out by Waste Service Provider, Zoom lion.
