The Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA), acting through the Metro NADMO, has distributed relief items to more than 3,000 victims affected by the recent floods in parts of the Tema Metropolis.
Eight (8) communities within the Metropolis were submerged following the heavy downpour recorded on the 29th of June, 2026. These communities were Tema Manhean, Community 12, SOS Down, Tuobodom, Community 6, and parts of Community One. However, the affected families were provided with hot meals daily during the peak of the flood disaster. This intervention lasted for a week.
