The Mayor of Tema, Hon. Ebi Bright, received a five-member delegation, led by Mr. Leslie Blankson from Relief and Aid International (RAI), a Ghanaian-founded non-governmental organization in the human capital development and social services space, in her office on Tuesday, 10th June, 2025.

Discussions centred on the Relief and Aid International, providing sustainable complementary interventions to bolster the TMA’s already existing efforts in providing education interventions and social services to its stakeholder communities within the metropolis.

Given acute water shortage concerns, Mayor Bright is considering exploring the possibility of drilling boreholes, through further consultation, in three electoral areas badly affected, with very bright prospects for the future. She reiterated that social interventions brought hope to persons in survival mode, so the TMA shall partner and prioritize the same under her leadership.

On their part, the delegation conveyed their warmest wishes of goodwill and support from their Founding President, Madam Peggy Anna Naa Ayikailey Adamafio, who is leading the noble community transformation charge.

Long live Hon. Ebi Bright, long live the Relief and Aid International (RAI), and long live “boa me na me mmoa”–cooperation and interdependence according to Adinkra wisdom, between the TMA and RAI.
