The Mayor of Tema, Madam Ebi Bright, visited selected Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) centers across the metropolis as part of a monitoring exercise.
She visited OLAMS Senior High School in Tema Central and St. Peter’s Junior High School in Tema Manhean, where she interacted with candidates during their examinations.
The Mayor encouraged the students to remain calm, focused and confident, reminding them that their current efforts could shape their future careers and leadership paths in various fields, including public service, medicine, law and other professions.
She commended the candidates for their composure and urged them to give their best in the examinations.
The exercise was part of efforts by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly to support and motivate candidates during the BECE period.
She was accompanied by the Metropolitan Director of Education, Madam Bernice Ofori; the Chairman of the Education Sub-Committee of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, Hon. Godsway Dzene; and the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Frank Asante.
