Tema Mayor, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey in the company of the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako have made donations towards the successful organisation of the annual Tema Kpele Festival.
The Mayor had earlier met the leadership of all participating groups to discuss issues bothering on the celebrations and how to make it successful.
At the short but colourful ceremony held at the Tema Mantse Palace, Hon. Ashitey reiterated the need for the Assembly to sustain the existing collaboration between the Festival Planning Committee and the TMA to make the Kpelejoo Festival a key event on the Local Tourism Calendar of the Metropolis.
