The Mayor, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey as part of his weekly tour of institutions in the Tema Metropolis, yesterday took advantage of his presence at the Community 8 No.4 Basic School for the Green Ghana Project, to assess the state of the school infrastructure. The over 60-year-old school obviously has some structural defects that required immediate attention.

In his usual action-oriented approach to solving problems, the Mayor has since dispatched his Works Department to conduct feasibility on the school building for immediate remedial action, as the Assembly mobilizes resources to have a permanent solution to the existing problems at the school.
