The Tema Metropolitan Assembly on Tuesday 20th February, 2024 elected a new Presiding Member, Mr. Felix Fauchie Sobreh.

31 Members, out of the 32 members who have voting rights voted.
22 members voted yes, 5 No, and 4 rejected.

He therefore won with 66% of the total votes cast.
He was sworn in the Tema District Court Magistrate, Her Worship, Ceran Mahama

Hon. Felix Sobreh thanked the Assembly for the smooth electoral process and reaffirmed his commitment to his mandate.
