The second day of Tema Metro “Operation keep revelers away from the beaches” has so far been very smooth. We envisage that the status quo shall be sustained.
Management led by Mayor Yohane Amarh Ashitey and his indefatigable MCD, Alhaji Shehu Kadiri have indicated that they will soon join us to boost the morale of our members on the ground.
Upon arrival this morning at the No.5 beach at Tema Manhean, the Task force observed that managers of the beach have voluntarily barricaded the main entrance to the beach; indicating to us that the message to stay out of the place has been received.
It is our expectation that other jurisdictions will learn from Tema Metropolitan Assembly (The model Assembly).
