The drive to make Tema Shine again, through improvement in Basic Education throughout the Metropolis continue unabated, as Tema Mayor, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey Tuesday morning visited Basic schools to ensure that the public facilities were ready to receive the pupils who were returning to school.
A good number of the kids were enrolling as “first timers”- “first day at school”.
Mayor Ashitey, together with the Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako as well as the Metro Director of Education, Mrs. Bernice Ofori distributed some ‘goodies’ to welcome the kids to school. [10TH JANUARY 2023]
