A grand Parade of School Children, Identifiable groups and Security Agencies climaxed the week-long celebration of the 66th Independence Anniversary Celebrations in Tema Metro.
The Gt. Accra Regional Celebrations organised under the auspices of Hon. Henry Quartey, the Regional Minister and hosted by the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, had participants drawn from all 29 Districts in the region.
Dignitaries present at the ceremony were Council of State Members, Members of Parliament, MMDCEs, MMDCD, Directors of Education, Traditional Authority, Giants of Industry, CSO, CEOs and a cross-section of the general public. [7th March 2023]
