Tema Mayor, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey has inaugurated a Nine-member Interim Committee to oversee the activities and general welfare of the Tema Manhean Canoe Basin.
The Tema Manhean Canoe Basin Management Committee will be co-chaired by the Chief Fishermen, Nii Mator and Nii Odametey.
Addressing the members at a large gathering of fishermen and fishmongers, Hon. Ashitey charged members of the interim committee to take steps to ensure that all activities at the Canoe basin are properly coordinated, especially issues of equity and accountability so far as Premix and related issues were concerned.
