Mayor Ashitey presents gifts to Tema Traditional Priests and Priestesses.

The Traditional high Priests (Wolumei) and Priestesses (Woyei) play very critical role in the Ga Traditional setting.

They are the intermediaries between the living, the ancestors and generations yet unborn.

The Mayor of Tema, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey an indigene and a Royal of Tema, spent the Sunday evening visiting these important personalities and sharing fond memories with them. He urged them to continue to pray for the peace and progress of our nation.
