Tema Metropolitan Assembly today Friday, 8th September, 2023 commemorated the World Literacy Day with activities such as; model reading, spelling Quiz, and book care tips amongst others.
The Literacy Day is set aside globally to create awareness and to bring into focus issues affecting education and learning.
The event was organized by the Tema Metro Education Directorate in collaboration with The Rainbow Trust Foundation under the auspices of the Mayor of Tema, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey.
