The Mayor of Tema, Ebi Bright, has officially reopened the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) Site 18 Day Care Centre in Community One following a tragic aircraft crash that led to its temporary closure.<\/p>\n
The reopening follows a planned renovation of the facility aimed at restoring safety and creating a conducive environment for early childhood learning.<\/p>\n
Speaking at the ceremony, the Mayor reaffirmed the Assembly\u2019s commitment to providing organised spaces and fair opportunities for children, describing the project as a symbol of resilience and renewal for the community.<\/p>\n
The event was marked by a colourful funfair which brought together learners from all three TMA Day Care Centres in Community One. The children participated in games and other recreational activities in an atmosphere of excitement and joy.<\/p>\n
In a heartwarming highlight, the Mayor used the occasion to celebrate her daughter, who had just turned one year old, as she cut her birthday cake together with the learners, drawing cheers and excitement from the children.<\/p>\n
