The Mayor of Tema, Hon. Ebi Bright, has visited the site of the recent light aircraft crash at Site 18, including the affected TMA Day Nursery School, where she led a solemn moment of silence in honour of those who lost their lives.
\nThe visit took place shortly after an emergency security meeting at the Tema Metropolitan Assembly, where officials reviewed the incident and coordinated response efforts.
\nThe brief but poignant gesture was held at the scene where the aircraft went down, claiming the lives of the pilot and co-pilot. Standing alongside officials, school authorities, and emergency personnel within the nursery school compound, the Mayor bowed her head as a mark of respect for the deceased.<\/p>\n
Mayor Bright expressed her condolences to the bereaved families and commended first responders for their swift actions in containing the situation and preventing further loss of life.
