The Newly appointed Mayor, Hon. Ebi Bright, this afternoon led a Team of Engineers from the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) and The Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority (GPHA) to commence emergency repair works on the 300- meter stretch of road which forms part of the Harbour road, also known as the ‘Akosombo Road, the emergency works will target the most deplorable portion of the road , which lies within the lowest point along the entire stretch.
\nThis intervention brings relief to hundreds of Motorists and other commuters who ply this road on daily basis to transact business within the Harbour Enclaves.
\nAddressing the technical group on site, Hon. Bright hinted that drains along the remaining 2 -kilometer stretch towards the Motorway roundabout will be desilted to allow for the run-off water to empty into the underground drains.
