The MCE, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey interacted with Fishermen and Fishmongers at the Tema Canoe basin to acquaint himself with the challenges that they face as they ply their trade at the fishing harbor.<\/p>\n

The Mayor had earlier toured the entire basin to have firsthand appreciation of their daily activities, as they struggle to make a living, in spite of challenges associated with premix supply and other welfare related matters.<\/p>\n

During his tour of the place, Mayor Ashitey reminisced his childhood when he “hustled ” with his peers at the Canoe beach on weekends to make an extra income typical of most kids in the 80s.<\/p>\n
