Five Basic School Pupils have received branded exercise books and other learning materials including a school bag each from the Mayor of Tema, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey at a short ceremony in his office on Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The gesture is in fulfilment of a promise the Mayor made to the kids who answered correctly, questioned posed randomly to them during a choral service organised for Basic Schools in December last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The kids answered correctly, the name of the basic school the Mayor attended, his indigenous Community where he grew up, amongst many other interesting questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Present at the meeting were Mr. Michael Owusu Amoako, Metropolitan Coordinating Director, Mrs. Bernice Ofori Metropolitan Director of Education and other Officials from both GES, TMA and Teachers who accompanied their pupils to receive the awards.
