\u00a0The Mayor of Tema, Hon. Felix Anang-La this afternoon received a 12-member Chinese delegation, when they paid a courtesy call on him at his office. The delegation was led by the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana Shi Ting Wang. The Chinese Ambassador led the visiting naval Team to inform him of their arrival in his jurisdiction and to pledge their dedication to strengthening bilateral ties with Tema. He was joined by the Captains manning the three Chinese war ships which docked at the Tema Port yesterday.\u00a0\u00a0The Team are in Ghana to join their counterparts, the Ghana Navy to hold training sessions and to exchange military intelligence.
\u00a0On his part the Mayor of Tema assured the Ambassador of his commitment to sustaining the cooperation that exists between Tema and the Embassy. He mentioned that businesses in Tema will enroll with the Chinese Chamber of commerce.<\/p>\n
