Ishmael Ashitey (then Member of Parliament, Tema East) and now Greater Accra Regional Minister.\u00a0 The rationale for constructing the facility was to provide ICT Training and artisanal skills to the youth of Tema to make them self-employed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>TEMA RESTORATION AGENDA <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon assumption of office as Mayor in May, 2017, Hon. Felix Mensah Nii Anang-La, unveiled the Tema Restoration Agenda.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>High on the agenda of the Mayor, was the pressing need to salvage all deteriorated educational infrastructure, and also to protect all <strong>public lands, including the parcel of land adjoining the Golden Age Youth Centre.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PROTECTING SCHOOLS AND PUBLIC LANDS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In fulfilment of the Restoration Agenda to protect school lands a sod-cutting ceremony was held on 25<sup>th<\/sup> January, 2018, at the premises of Community 7 number 1 at which the media were invited and the event was widely publicized.\u00a0 Included in the project lots, is the fencing of the Golden Age Youth Centre (GAYC).
